Walk through a large chestnut stand - some that have survived...
Meet up at South Orleans MA Post Office (map) at 10 - walk will leave from there.
(South Orleans Post Office parking lot, behind the Hess gas station on Rte 28 - very near the intersection with Rte 39)

B is for Birding~
The Audubon Society's John Galluzzo (Adult Education Coordinator, South Shore Sanctuaries) led a bird walk along the rail trail/bike path near Nelson Beach on Saturday, 9.10. He pointed out an osprey nest (and its inhabitant), cormorants, swans, plovers and many more feathered creatures.

These walks are great whether you're a birder or someone (like me) who just loves to walk in nature.

John will lead a couple of other free Plymouth bird walks later in the Winter, and I highly recommend them. You need to register by calling the society (9AM - 4PM, M - F): 781.837.9400
